Aaron Roney

Lead Developer

Aaron is a Seattle-based engineering leader with experience as a Software Developer at Microsoft, a Senior Engineering Manager at Oracle, and a Senior Engineering Manager at Cruise.  At Microsoft, he focused on application frameworks and design as an animation and application Object Model specialist on Windows XAML, and at Oracle and Cruise, he managed teams of 20 to 30 people building highly reliable, scalable, and available compute orchestration / ML infrastructure platforms.  Prior to his professional career, Aaron studied Nuclear Engineering, worked as a neutron transport computational researcher at Texas A&M, and studied Computer Science at University of Washington.  On his free time, Aaron plays saxophone in local modern jazz orchestras, swims, participates on nonprofit boards, and enjoys spending time with his wife, Chelsey, his kids, Kate and Jack, his husky, Annie, and his cats, Callie and Brownie.
