Fall in Los Angeles

The hub of the country's film and television industries is Los Angeles, a vast metropolis in Southern California. Studios, including Warner Brothers, Paramount Pictures, and Universal, provide behind-the-scenes tours close to the famous Hollywood sign. We've officially entered Fall. Get ready to indulge in buffets of pumpkin-flavored goods produced by coffee shops and bakeries alike and the extravagant holiday celebrations that take place all over the city. Since Fall colors are harder to find in their natural surroundings, Angelenos compensate with various activities and festivals. So, even though you'll still be enjoying the weather for the majority of the season, there are numerous fun ways to ring in Autumn.

The 5 Best Fall Activities in Los Angeles

Explore Halloween Wonderland at Haunt O’ Ween’s

Wander through the glittering Halloween paradise of Haunt O' Ween that stretches out to 200,000 square feet, including nine distinct zones brimming with frightening treats. In this journey, there will be a luminous Jack-O-Lantern tunnel, carving stations laden with 35,000 pumpkins, a multi-media scavenger hunt by Netflix, new scary characters, and trick-or-treating.

Descanso Gardens’ Mile-Long Pumpkin Trail

The popular Carved path in Descanso Garden will be open for three weeks, starting on October 7th and ending on October 31st. Hundreds of glowing, exquisitely carved pumpkins and other gigantic sculptures made from materials available in the gardens may be seen when taking nightly strolls beneath the stars.

Holbox

After tasting Holbox’s incredibly fresh, creative seafood meals, you'll wonder about the quality of all the other fish you've ever eaten. There are enormous Baja scallops that are buttery, tender, and covered with scorching aguachile sauce. Delectables like diver scallops sprinkled with pickled fennel, braised octopus brimming with jet-black ink, and deep-fried rockfish are all put in tacos.

The uni tostada and kanpachi, a visually stunning dish with loads of uni practically dripping off a freshly cooked tostada, chopped lime and onions, and sea bass ceviche, is the major attraction at this popular Mexican food counter. We highly recommend visiting because your taste buds are in for a treat.

Go to a Spooky Speakeasy Hiding in a DTLA Distillery

You may enter The Obscure by looking for an entrance lit by a dull amber lamp along Santa Fe Avenue in Downtown Los Angeles. If you have an invitation, that is. This magical lair combines artistic creations, refined spirits, and imaginative cocktails with eerie settings that will take you to Hogwarts.

Experience Olvera Street’s Dia De Los Muertos

Due to its vibrant market and selection of mouth-watering eateries, Olvera Street, one of the city's oldest attractions, is a well-liked tourist destination. Since its origin more than 30 years ago, the Dia de los Muertos Festival has been held every year, giving Angelenos the chance to honor life in the most beautiful and peaceful rituals possible.

You can participate in candlelight processions where you will be blessed and cleansed in the Mayan method, while complimentary pan de muerto and champurrado are provided after each procession. The event starts on October 25th and ends on November 2nd.
